Nyssa Emerson, Ph.D.

Nyssa Emerson, Ph.D., is Head of Analytical Research and Development at Zahav Bioscience, where she leads analytical development supporting the advancement of the company’s nanotechnology pipeline. She brings expertise in nanoparticle characterization, bioconjugation, and complex therapeutic platforms- ensuring robust, reproducible data to support Zahav’s development and regulatory readiness.

Nyssa earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University, where her research focused on developing advanced methods to precisely control and characterize nanoparticle systems. She is recognized for translating complex nano-bio challenges into practical analytical solutions that enable scalable development.

Prior to joining Zahav Bioscience, Nyssa held analytical leadership roles at a clinical-stage biotechnology company and a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), where she supported early-stage programs in nanomedicines and antibody-drug conjugates. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.
