Rick Rivera is Senior Vice President of Operations, where he leads operational strategy across Zahav’s discovery and development programs. He brings more than 25 years of experience across clinical operations, portfolio strategy, program leadership, and strategic partnerships, from global CROs to biopharma sponsor organizations.
Rick’s father is a cancer survivor, an experience that has drawn him to oncology-focused work for the past decade. He brings a data-driven, patient-first mindset to operations. With a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, governance for corporate boards, and strategic partnerships Rick’s combination of rigor and connection helps turn ambitious program timelines into delivered results.
Prior to joining Zahav Bioscience, Rick held executive roles at Syneos Health, ICON Clinical Research, and PPD (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
Rick holds a BA in Biology from Augustana College.
